FICKLE ARCHIVE is Chen’s own fluid, temporal archive. The goal of this archive is not to present any accurate timeline or history, but to show one that is fragmented, non-linear, fickle. It exists as a collection of items, photographs, videos, and installations that capture fickleness, disconnection, and displacement as it relates to Asian-America.
This online space is just one way to view the archive, as it is modeled to be reformed and reshaped constantly.
